817. coffee with leiziger lerch

Maria Beierlein, Berlin.

“Greetings from Berlin, where we are shivering from the 15 degrees below zero. I wanted to share my coffee with you because its the daily coffee at my office which is normally provided by one of my nice colleagues who really knows how to use our espresso machine. At some moment of the day, one of us will make coffee for everyone who wishes to join. At the side there is another little present from the colleagues, a special cookie from the town Leipzig called Leiziger Lerche, a cookie filled with marzipan. I think that this coffee is a really nice, daily expression of our group of work. ”

Maria’s cooking blog is called Schmeckt´s, which according to Google Translate means, “it is good.” Who am I to argue with Google? If it’s coffee, it’s good. You can visit Maria here.
