80. cap at bernardo

Cafe Bernardo, Davis CA. This is the same coffee Steve waited on in cup number 76. They also make a mean Salmon BLT, just in case you’re in town.

79. gotta get your morning on

Sometimes it requires an extra cup. Or three.

78. hugs kisses coffee

On Saturday morning at 5:47 a.m., this was waiting for me in my email, from Bernadette from Vertigo B.

A 4:19 wake up yelp from my daughter
Trader Joe’s Gingerbread Coffee
Monsters, Inc.
Hugs kisses coffee
An early start, but a nice one.

77. sweet

Leslie Flores (she of the Coffee Gods cup number 63 ). Outerlands, San Francisco. Must go there. No really. MUST go there.

76. patiently, he waits

He knows the drill. I order coffee, choose a table for the light and then shoot as much as I can, before my coffee gets cold. No conversation, except for my prop removal/placement requests. And then I repeat with the iPhone camera (just in case it’s better that way). He’s really very patient, which is a nice trait in a mate, when one of us drinks this much coffee.

coffee break number three

Karen of Coffee Creations paints with espresso. And sometimes beer. And since I love the Tour de France almost as much as I love coffee, I thought this piece would be the perfect coffee break between cups 75 and 76.

75. good morning sunshine

Especially for the East Coasters, and those of us stuck in the Sacramento Valley’s tule fog (though I do understand that it’s not the same as being stuck under several feet of snow….but we still miss sunny mornings). From Amy at Lucky Number 13. Amy also brought us coffee cup number 34.

74. one and done

Another tasty cup from April Bern in Chicago. She’s blogging at  Creative Apples Photography, and has had several cups of coffee with me already (see cups 42, 45, 54 and 73).

72. a different point of view

That would be the “working now” point of view. Jegoble is a Flickr contact, and a CPA in Arkansas. Plus, he likes coffee (and perhaps doesn’t mind getting down on the floor for a good photo). His Flickr photostream is here.
